Refund Guide

This page explains, in practical terms, how the "refund in proportion to the number of unused requests" under Terms of Service Article 7 is actually calculated. It is an operational guide; where any discrepancy arises, Article 7 of the Terms controls. This English translation is provided for your convenience — the Korean version is the legally binding text.

1. Subscriptions — pro-rata refund by unused requests

When a subscriber cancels, we refund the value of the requests not yet used in the current billing month:

Refund = (current monthly fee ÷ monthly request allowance for that tier) × number of unused requests

Example. Premium (₩79,000/month, 12 reports/month). You used 4 reports, then cancel. Unused = 8 → ₩79,000 ÷ 12 × 8 = ₩52,667 (rounded to the nearest won).

  • Subscriptions can be canceled at any time with no penalty.
  • Free monthly credits, invitation/promotion credits, and other complimentary grants are not paid, so they are excluded from this calculation.
  • Weekend-request passes that you purchased separately are refunded at ₩30,000 each if unused, separately from the formula above. Weekend passes bundled with your subscription are a benefit included in the monthly fee and are not separately refundable.

2. Long-term loyalty discount — no cancellation penalty

Personal subscriptions have no fixed-term commitment. The long-term loyalty discount (10% from 3 consecutive months, 15% from 6, 20% from 12) is applied to each monthly charge as your subscription continues.

  • There is no cancellation penalty and no clawback — the loyalty discount you have already enjoyed is never billed back to you.
  • You are charged one month at a time, never a lump sum, so there is nothing to prepay and nothing to reclaim.
  • On cancellation, the pro-rata refund for unused requests in the current month (section 1) still applies.

If your subscription lapses and you resubscribe later, the loyalty counter starts over from zero.

3. Guest per-item purchases

  • Before payment is confirmed (before the credit is granted): cancel any time, full refund.
  • After the credit is granted but not yet used: full refund.
  • After a request has been submitted using the credit: non-refundable.

4. How to request a refund

Email didymus@didymuslab.com or use Support. Once we confirm your account for a refund, the amount is transferred to your account within 3 business days.
