Why pastors use Didymus Lab
- ✦ Between admin and visitation the week is gone — and the sermons keep coming: Sunday, Wednesday, Friday, dawn prayer, week after week.
- ✦ Working through a stack of commentaries verse by verse can swallow a whole week.
- ✦ Ask an AI and the answer sounds right — but hallucination is a real risk. It can state things that are simply wrong, or cite books and verses that don’t exist.
- ✦ Big churches keep a research office to dig all this up and summarize it. Most churches can’t justify the payroll.
Didymus Lab cites only
tens of thousands of scholarly sources that are openly licensed — CC-BY, CC0, public domain —
checked by hand by real researchers,
all gathered into a single report.
So the hours you used to spend hunting down and organizing material go back to your people and your family.

Frequently asked questions
Do you write the sermon for me?
No. Didymus Lab is not a sermon-writing service. We prepare the research — original-language analysis, historical background, verse-by-verse commentary, and scholarly discussion — in one PDF dossier. The sermon itself stays yours.
Are the sources and copyright safe to use?
Yes. Every citation comes exclusively from tens of thousands of openly licensed scholarly sources — CC-BY, CC0, and public domain — and every quotation carries its source. All materials permit commercial use, so your church can use them with confidence.
Can I trust AI-generated research?
No report ships as a raw AI draft. A biblical scholar reviews citations and factual claims by hand before delivery, filtering out hallucinations such as invented books or verses.
How fast will I receive my report?
Within 24 hours of your request, delivered as a PDF to your dashboard. If you need materials for a specific service, we recommend requesting a few days ahead.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Sign-up includes one free Premium-tier report, and even without a subscription you receive one free-trial report every month (4 core sections — scholarly discussion and hymn suggestions are paid-tier only). No card required.
Can my church pay for this from its budget?
Yes. We issue cash receipts and tax invoices, so subscriptions can be claimed against church book or research budgets.
